About Riverview Center for Growth

Riverview Center for Growth is beautifully situated along the banks of the McKenzie River in Springfield, Oregon. We provide emotional, behavioral and mental health therapy for children, teens, adults and families. Offered onsite, in the home, virtually and at local schools, our programs and services meet people where they are, without judgment. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming place that provides hope, healing and opportunities for growth as people navigate rough waters.

As an organization, we provide:

  • Mental health programs and services for children, teens and adults that are individualized, integrated, diagnostic, therapeutic, proactive and community based.
  • Therapeutic K-12 student education services for children and youth with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders with a focus on family involvement.
  • Fulfilling careers for a diverse and talented team of mental health professionals who care about our community and individuals we serve.
  • Opportunities for individuals, businesses and organizations in our community to support our mission.

Known as the The Child Center since 1971, we are a nonprofit human services agency offering psychiatric, therapeutic and education programs throughout Lane County, Oregon. Each year, we serve as many as 3,000 clients and their families. We changed our name to Riverview Center for Growth in 2023 to better reflect our mission, sense of place, and our vision to grow our organization to meet the mental health needs of our community.
